Free review response generator
Evoriqa's free review response generator writes three ready-to-post replies to a Google review. Pick the star rating, a tone and your kind of business, add what the review mentions, then copy the one you like. It never invents details about the reviewer, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

How to respond to a bad review (and a good one)
- 01
Thank them, and keep it short
Open with thanks for the review, whatever the rating. Google's own tips ask for replies that are short, clear and polite, and a name makes it personal. - 02
Address the issue without arguing
Say you are sorry the experience fell short, once. Stay calm even when the review feels unfair. Do not blame the reviewer, and do not promise what you cannot deliver. - 03
Take it offline
For a complaint, give a business email or phone so you can talk it through in private. A public thread is a poor place to settle the details. - 04
Keep private details and offers out
Do not share anything about the reviewer beyond their first name, such as order or booking details. Do not offer a deal, and do not trade anything for a review.
How to reply to Google reviews
Checked against Google's own Business Profile help pages in October 2026. Menus change, so follow your screen if a label differs.
On a computer
- Go to your Business Profile at business.google.com.
- Select Read reviews.
- Next to the review, select the Reply icon.
- Enter your reply in the dialog box. Paste the one you copied.
- Select Reply.
Edit or delete a reply
Under Read reviews, select the Edit icon under your reply, change it, then select Update. To remove it, select the Delete icon under your reply and confirm.
Google checks replies against its content policies and asks you to edit one that is not approved. The reviewer is notified when you reply.
On a phone
Menu path: not verified. Google’s page lists steps for a computer only, so none are given for the app or a phone browser. Look for your reviews in your Business Profile.
Frequently asked questions
How do I respond to a bad review?
Reply calmly and briefly. Thank the reviewer, say you are sorry the experience fell short, and give a business email or phone to continue in private. Do not argue, share details, or offer a deal.
Should I reply to every Google review?
Google's tips say to avoid generic thank-yous and to focus on reviews where you can add a useful update or answer a question. Replying promptly shows that you value feedback. Negative reviews are the ones most worth answering.
Can I ask a reviewer to change or remove a review?
Do not offer anything in return. Google says offering incentives to post reviews is strictly prohibited, and the same applies to changing or removing them. You can reply, and report a review you believe breaks Google's content policies.
What should never go in a review reply?
Google's tips say to avoid sharing the reviewer's private information, personal attacks, promotional offers and taking responsibility for things outside your control. Keep to the business, and write only what is true.
Does the reviewer see my reply?
Yes. Google's help page says the reviewer is notified when you reply. An approved reply appears publicly under the review, as coming from your business. The reviewer can still change their review afterwards.
Does this tool use AI or invent details?
No AI is involved. The replies are written from templates in your browser, and the only specifics are the first name, business name, contact and detail you type. Read each reply once and change anything that is not true.
Does the tool save what I type?
No. The replies are written in your browser, and nothing is sent or stored. Site analytics records only the rating, tone and business type you chose when you copy a reply, never the names, contact or detail.
Is this tool affiliated with Google?
No. Evoriqa is not affiliated with Google. The replies work for any review site, and the posting steps below follow Google's own help pages as checked in October 2026.
