Free Messenger QR code generator
Evoriqa's free Messenger QR code generator turns your Facebook Page username into an m.me link and a QR code. A customer scans it and a Messenger chat with your Page opens. Download the code as a PNG or an SVG for print. It runs in your browser, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Your QR code
Type your Page username. Your m.me link and QR code appear here.
Answer the Messenger chats this starts
Evoriqa’s Facebook Messenger channel replies to your Page’s messages from your own content, and hands over to your team when a person is needed. Customers who prefer WhatsApp can use the WhatsApp link generator. Text instead? Build an SMS link.
Evoriqa is not affiliated with Meta. Messenger and Facebook are trademarks of their owner, named here only to say what the link opens.
Where a Messenger link and code fit
The link goes on screens. The code goes on paper and on glass.
On your website
Use the m.me link on a Message us button. On a phone it opens Messenger directly, so no code is needed there.
On printed material
Put the code on leaflets, invoices and shop windows. Print it at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide as a rule of thumb.
At events and stalls
A banner code lets visitors ask a question without queuing. Say when you will answer, so nobody waits for a reply.
How to make a Messenger QR code
- 01
Find your Page username
Open your Facebook Page and look at its web address. The part after facebook.com/ is the username. Paste the whole address if easier. - 02
Read the m.me link
The tool shows https://m.me/ followed by your username. Open it on your phone and check it starts a chat with your Page. - 03
Download the code
Take the PNG for a website banner or a screen. Take the SVG for anything printed, such as a shop window sticker. - 04
Tell people what happens next
Print Chat with us on Messenger beside the code. Say when you reply, so a scan does not feel like a gamble.
The link format
Checked against Meta's own page in October 2026.
Meta documents the format as m.me followed by your Page name. It also documents ?ref for tracking where a chat came from and ?text for an opening message. Meta writes the address with http. This tool writes it with https.
Frequently asked questions
What is an m.me link?
It is a short web address that opens a Messenger chat with a Facebook Page. Meta documents the format as m.me followed by the Page name.
Where do I find my Page username?
It is in the address of your Facebook Page, after facebook.com/. If that part is only a long number, use the number.
Can I use a numeric Page ID instead?
The tool accepts one, but Meta's m.me page shows a Page name, not an ID. Open the link on a phone to confirm it works.
Does this work for a personal profile?
Meta's documentation describes m.me links for Pages, so this tool is meant for a business Page. A personal profile is not covered.
Can the link carry a ref or a starter message?
Meta documents ?ref and ?text on m.me links. This tool leaves them off, so the link stays short and the code stays easy to scan.
What if a customer does not use Messenger?
Offer a second way to reach you beside the code, such as a WhatsApp link or a text. Meta's page does not promise who can open the link.
Is my Page username stored when I make a code?
No. Your browser builds the link and the code, and Evoriqa does not receive the username. Analytics records that a code was downloaded and nothing more.
