When a holiday falls on a weekend
OPM says that for most federal employees a Saturday holiday is observed on the Friday before. A Sunday holiday is observed on the Monday after. Your business can choose differently, so type the days you are closed.
Other days and other countries
The list is US federal holidays only, and the sign is in English. For any other day, choose Custom and type the reason. OPM also lists Inauguration Day for Washington, DC area employees, which is left out here.

Pick the first and last closed day, and type when you reopen, such as Monday at 9:00 AM. A box you leave empty is left off the sign. - 03
