Free tool
Free click to call link generator
Evoriqa's free click to call link generator builds a tel: link from your phone number. On a phone, one tap opens the dialler with your number ready to call. Copy the link, or copy an HTML snippet for a Call us button or an email signature. It runs in your browser, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Your click to call link
Enter your phone number. Your tel: link appears here.
Catch the questions that do not need a call
Some callers only want your hours or a price. Evoriqa’s AI receptionist answers from your own content and hands over to your team when a person is needed. Prefer a text? Build an SMS link. Or open a chat with the WhatsApp link generator.
Where a call button earns its place
Where a customer is ready to talk now, on a phone.
A sticky header button
Show Call us at the top of a mobile page, so the number is one tap away wherever the visitor scrolls.
Your contact page
Wrap the number itself in the link, and print your opening hours beside it so nobody calls a closed shop.
Emails and listings
Put the snippet in a signature. For a printed card, save your details with the vCard QR code generator.
How to make a click to call link
- 01
Add your country code and number
Type the number as you would say it. Spaces, dashes and brackets are fine, and a leading 0 is dropped. - 02
Read the tel: link it makes
It starts with tel:+ and the digits, and nothing else. That is the form every phone dialler expects. - 03
Paste the snippet where a button belongs
Put it in your header, your contact page or your email signature. Change the words Call us to suit. - 04
Tap it from a phone before you publish
Check the dialler opens with the right number. Try it on a computer too, so you know what visitors see.
What the standard says
Checked against RFC 3966 in October 2026.
A tel: link holds a phone number. A global number starts with a plus and then digits. The RFC lets you add hyphens, dots and brackets for readability, and says not to use spaces. Its example is tel:+1-201-555-0123.
Frequently asked questions
What is a click to call link?
It is a normal web link that starts with tel: instead of https. On a phone, tapping it opens the dialler with your number ready.
Why does the number start with a plus sign?
RFC 3966 says a global number is identified by a leading plus. Including your country code means the link works from anywhere.
Can I keep dashes or brackets in the number?
The RFC allows them for readability, but they add nothing to a link. It forbids spaces. This tool writes digits only.
What happens on a desktop computer?
That depends on which app is set to handle tel: links, if any. Always show the number as text as well.
Does the link dial the call by itself?
The link only hands the number to the phone's dialler. What happens next is the phone's choice, and most ask the customer to confirm.
Can I track how many people tapped it?
Not with this tool. A tel: link has no page to count. Use your phone provider's call logs or a call tracking number.
What if I cannot answer every call?
Evoriqa's AI agent can answer them. It works by forwarding calls to your own Telnyx or Infobip number, at a separate cost.
Is my phone number logged when I make a link?
No. The tel: link is built in your browser and never uploaded. Analytics records that a link was copied, never the digits.
