Add an AI Chatbot to Wix with Custom Code

What connecting Wix gets you

Wix lets you add third-party scripts through its Custom Code panel, so putting an always-on AI agent on every page of your site is a paste-and-publish job rather than a rebuild. You add the snippet once, tell Wix to load it site-wide, and the agent appears as a chat bubble in the bottom-right on every page, including the pages you add later, because the code is attached to the whole site rather than to any one page.

For a visitor, that means the question they have at any hour meets an agent that's already there, on whatever page they landed on, instead of a contact form and a wait.

Where the snippet goes

In your Wix dashboard, the snippet lives under Settings → Custom Code, in the Advanced section, added as a new custom-code entry set to load on All pages with its placement set to Body — end. Body-end placement is what puts it just before the closing </body> tag, which is where the widget expects to load; setting it to All pages is what makes it site-wide rather than tied to a single page.

Before you start

Custom Code on Wix requires a Wix Premium plan with a connected domain (it isn't available on the free plan), so confirm that first. You'll also need your embed snippet from the Install tab, which comes with your chatbot id already filled in. If you don't have a workspace yet, create one free at app.evoriqa.com. Adding it to Wix

From Settings → Custom Code, choose Add Custom Code, paste the snippet, and give it a recognizable name like "Evoriqa" so you can find it again later. Set it to load on All pages, and place it in Body — end. Applying the code stages it; publishing your site is the step that actually makes it live, so don't expect to see the bubble until you've published.

Confirming it's live

Publish the site and open the live URL, not the editor preview, then look for the chat bubble in the bottom-right. Click it and ask a question to confirm it's responding. If the bubble is missing, the two usual causes are a domain that isn't connected yet or a code entry that isn't set to load on all pages; check both and republish. Once it's showing, click through to a second page to confirm it follows you site-wide rather than sitting only on the page you first tested.
