Add an AI Chatbot to Your Framer Site
Add a live AI support agent to your Framer site with the end-of-body custom code field. Paste one snippet, publish, and it's live across your published site.
What connecting Framer gets you
Framer has a built-in spot for end-of-body scripts, which is exactly where the Evoriqa widget wants to load. So connecting an AI support agent is a single paste in Site Settings followed by a publish. Once it's live, the agent appears as a chat bubble in the bottom-right across your published site.
Because Framer runs custom code on the published site rather than in the editor, the agent shows up where your visitors are, and the live URL is the place you confirm it.
| Without the agent | With the agent | |
|---|---|---|
| A question after you've logged off | Waits until morning | Answered around the clock |
| Adding chat to the site | A separate tool to wire up | One end-of-body snippet |
| Keeping it running | Something to maintain | A script that loads itself, nothing to manage |
Where the snippet goes
In Framer, the snippet goes into Site Settings → General, in the Custom Code section, in the field labelled "End of <body> tag." That placement loads the widget right before the page closes, which is what it's designed for, and it applies across the published site rather than to a single page.
Before you start
You'll need a Framer plan that allows custom code on a published site, plus your embed snippet from the Install tab. It comes with your chatbot id already filled in. If you don't have a workspace yet, create one free at app.evoriqa.com. No credit card needed.
Publishing is what makes it live
As with most site builders, Framer runs custom code on the published site, not in the editor preview. After you paste the snippet into the End-of-body field and Save, publish the site. Then check the live Framer URL rather than the canvas. If you look on the canvas and see nothing, that's expected.
Confirming it's live
Open your published Framer URL and look for the chat bubble in the bottom-right, then click it and ask a question to confirm it responds. Because the editor preview won't run the script, the live URL is the only place you'll see it — so test there, not in the builder.
One paste covers the published site
You add the end-of-body snippet once and it covers the whole published site — every page, deep links included, plus any pages you add later. Because the field is part of your site settings rather than any single frame, nothing needs re-adding when you duplicate a page or restructure: the one place you pasted it keeps carrying it everywhere.
Common questions
Do I add it to every page myself? No — the End-of-body field applies across the whole published site, so a single paste covers every page.
Why can't I see the widget in the Framer editor? Custom code runs on the published site, not in the editor preview. Open the live URL to see the bubble.
Which field does the snippet go in? Site Settings → General → Custom Code, in the "End of <body> tag" field. That's the end-of-body slot the widget is built for.
Do I need a particular Framer plan? You need a Framer plan that allows custom code on a published site. That's the one prerequisite the setup calls for.
How do I remove the widget later? Delete the snippet from the same End-of-body field and publish again. The chat bubble disappears from the live site with that next publish — nothing else to clean up.
Framer-specific limits
The thing to check first is the plan: a Framer plan that allows custom code on a published site is a prerequisite, so confirm your plan qualifies before you expect the snippet to run.
If the widget still does not appear after publishing, open the live URL in a private window and look at the page source for the script tag. Seeing it there means the snippet shipped and the problem is configuration; not seeing it means the custom-code field never made it into the published build.
